News & Runway

If you’ve ever attended New York Fashion Week at Bryant Park, then you’ve experienced the chaos of having to wait on long lines to get into a show.  Yet, we all put up with it because we are die hard fashionistas yearning to see what’s new each season from top designers such as Phillip Lim, Diane von Furstenberg or Michael Kors, just to name a few.

In the American Express Skybox one can opt out of the chaos on the floor for VIP treatment with some panache.

For $250, American Express Platinum and Gold card members can purchase packages for two shows which give them a unique perspective of the runway from atop the tent.  With around 22 card members in attendance per show, one is made to feel like a celebrity.  There is plush décor (designed by Jonathan Adler), luscious food and drinks, and one even gets a bag full of swag to take home.

To top things off there is usually a designer or special guest to have a chat with card members.

The Skybox is so incognito that the masses sitting below do not even notice it floating right above them.  For this type of exclusivity, the Skybox is certainly worth it.
