LFW: PAUL COSTELLOE S/S 2010

Somerset House means a lot of things to a lot of people. But for London’s booming fashion industry, it means one thing: Fashion Week. Industry insiders were walking the cobbled streets near the venue today, eagerly anticipating the start of a week full to the brim with sartorial splendor.  After months of planning and preparation, designers are ready, and there’s already rumors of who will be front row at which shows. To kick start what will undoubtedly be one of the most exciting London Fashion Weeks in history, Paul Costelloe’s designs took the stage this morning.

“As an established name at LFW, I think it is important to always reinvent yourself,” noted Costelloe, “I am also delighted to be opening LFW and to be part of its 25th anniversary.”

This was an excellent opening show to kick start the biggest fashion event on the London fashion calendar.
