Giambattista Valli Spring 2014: Unapologetically Feminine, But Sophisticated

Giambattista Valli reigned in his signature surface embellishments, but kept his impeccable knack for sculpted shapes.

Unapologetically feminine, but nothing if not sophisticated, the collection included folded and curled fabrics that brought to mind the designer’s affinity for flower petals, fluttering sheer panels on tops, sheer dresses, and a sheepskin tote that editors will surely be clamoring for in the spring.

Women who can’t get enough of Valli’s floral appliqué and prints need not worry, there were plenty of those in the lineup; small colorful florals on separates, dresses and coats, all of which were cut with a comfortable amount of breathing room.
