Are you ready? Tomorrow night we’ll be reporting from backstage at the Go Red For Women® / The Heart Truth® Red Dress Collection℠ New York Fashion Week runway show. The event is the result of a collaboration between The American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women movement and the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute’s (NHLBI) awareness campaign, The Heart Truth. Both organizations are known for the iconic red dress that symbolizes the fight against heart disease, the No. 1 killer of women.

Each year, a bevy of celebrities walk the runway in stunning red gowns created by fashion’s top designers, and this year the lineup is better than ever. Three dresses created by fashion incubator designers based in Chicago, Philadelphia and San Francisco housed at Macy’s (Granaté Prêt, LAGI NADEAU, Sarah Liller San Francisco) will also be featured in the show.
