LACOSTE F/W 2010

The first dozen or so looks were a fairly interesting mix of neutral toned, loose-fitting separates for both men and women.  An emerging trend seems to be slouchy blazers and trousers.  However, the collection quickly progressed into a slew of oddly color-blocked looks. The problem was not so much that they were unappealing aesthetically speaking, with the exception of some dowdy-hippy stripped pieces.

Rather, the problem was that the pieces’ loud colors made it nearly impossible for observers to focus on the actual garments. Forget about the clothes wearing the model –  it was the colors wearing the models at Lacoste.
