Sofia Richie has modeled for big brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors and Chanel, but now she’s stepping off the runway to go behind the scenes and create her own fashion line.
“I finally feel like I’m at the point in my life where I have so many creative ideas that I want to share and I’m bottled up,” Richie said. “Over the years, buying so many clothes and seeing what I liked and didn’t like and being in the modeling industry, I was around so many designers and I always took notes and tips from them. It came easily and I knew all the little things I wanted and didn’t want.”
To bring her Sofia Stone line to life, she’ll be working with LA Collective. The company is no stranger to celebrity fashion lines since it has previously partnered with Morgan Stewart, Khloé Kardashian, Olivia Culpo and Nicky Hilton.
As Richie’s followers are mostly millennials and Gen Zers, the designs will have a glamorous athleisure vibe with pieces priced at under $80. Sofia Stone is set to launch this summer on August 30. It’ll drop new collections every season with the next collection expected to roll out in November.
