June is an interesting month for magazine covers. It usually offers us the first real summer-themed issues of the year. So we eagerly anticipate all the warm-weather styling ideas. But not all of the June 2021 covers screamed summer.
Sure, you have publications like Vogue and some of its offshoots showcasing looks that demand to be flaunted in scorching temps. On the other hand, we saw flashy blazers, leather jackets and corsets better suited to September editions.
On the diversity front, ELLE U.K. featured its first non-binary cover star. Other than that, there wasn’t much for us to celebrate.
