Hollywood Loves Hedi Slimane’s Reinvented Celine — Here’s the Proof

Hedi Slimane’s appointment as the creative, artistic and image director of luxury French brand Celine is easily one of the most interesting and controversial moments in recent haute couture history. Slimane’s first show at Paris Fashion Week received the most polarizing reviews a runway show can possibly acquire. On one hand, he completely changed Celine’s tone of femininity by introducing loud sequins and overpowering retro accents. And on the other hand, his debut was, in a word, glorious.

And Hollywood A-listers are clearly on board with Slimane as Celine’s main man; Lady Gaga, Dakota Johnson, Amber Heard and Angelina Jolie have already been seen out and about in the new Celine.
