Forum Street Style: Expect the Unexpected

I never know what to expect when checking out the popular “What Did You Wear Today” Thread in the Fashion Spot forums, and this week was no exception. Read on for highlights from the past week; some members kept it simple while others chose to push the envelope.

fashionandfrank, AiryFairy, frickys

A new member in the Fashion Spot forums, fashionandfrank shared a chic 70s-inspired outfit. Her denim wrap top is by Cos, jeans are by Notify, trench is by Golden Goose, and the bag and wedges are by Chloé.

AiryFairy made her Salvador Dali tee from the Dali Theater-Museum in Figueres, Spain a fashion forward item by encasing it in a Zana Bayne leather harness and wearing it with slim jeans by Madewell and strappy sandals from Zara in perfectly complementary colors.

The only thing predictable about frickys is that whether simple or complex, sexy or demure, she’s bound to post a great outfit. Here she took the simple and pretty route in a white dress and bright blue bag from Asos. Her shoes are a wardrobe staple from Zara and sunglasses are by Céline.

primad, timber, getpalmd

Primad went for black and white head to toe in a top by Monki, Rag & Bone shorts with eyelet lace detailing and wedge sandals by Chloé.

Timber spruced up a simple outfit of dark H&M jeans and a vintage navy blouse with a pair of bright red vintage boots.

In Helsinki, getpalmd wore her high-waisted red leather shorts by Shakuhachi with a simple white tank from H&M and chunky wooden heeled sandals from Zara.

In Norway, larichg kept the rest of her outfit simple when donning red ikat print harem pants from Zara. The blousy black tee is by Acne, tribal-style ethnic necklace is from H&M, black gladiator-style sandals are by Roots, and her sunglasses are Marc by Marc Jacobs.

In Australia, risska combined a handmade feather vest with an H&M corset, Cue skirt, and leopard print tights from Japan.

Trueblue831 wore a pretty white skirt from Korea with an edgier Free People bralette and black lace crop top by LF. She finished off the look with her “beat up Chucks” and a combination of jewelry from H&M, Cape Cod, and Jewel Mint.
