My Perfect Holiday Look: Party Hopping

The holiday season is officially here and what does that mean? The calendar is jam packed with festivities! From the office holiday party to festive family functions, Christmas cocktails with my girlfriends and our annual charity event, December is always jam-packed with excitement. The only problem is, many of my invitations seem to land on the same day. So what’s a girl to do? Find the perfect holiday outfit and start party hoppin’!

Next Saturday, I have a birthday celebration, a holiday cocktail hour and then a Christmas party all in one night. Yes, it would be easy to choose just one, but why? It’s the holidays and we must overindulge! I love to dress up, so when I found this little cocktail mini from Intermix, I knew it would be perfect. The lace adds texture and the long sleeves balance out the length. For heels, I am obsessed with pairing booties and dresses together. These Saint Laurent suede booties are to die for — sexy, yet so chic.

When it comes to jewelry, I am all about gold. I love to wear my hair down (bedhead curls are a staple), so instead of earrings, I tend to stack a lot of bangles and add in a statement ring like this one from Emilio Pucci. Nothing says holiday like a little bling bling!

To finish off the look, makeup is key. I love a soft cat eye (preferably black liner) with neutral shadows, and lots of mascara for volume. Add in a soft blush and of course, a red lip is a holiday party MUST! Here, the ULTA Beauty Box is perfect for creating a look because there are so many options to choose from. And because it’s so cute and compact, it’s easy to throw this little case in the car for between-party touch-ups. A girl on the go has to be prepared!
