Let’s not tiptoe in the tulips. Last year, our obsession with denim was wearing a little thin. In the U.S. alone, sales for denim fell a staggering 6 percent in the $16 billion jean industry. Some analysts blamed the rise of athleisure wear, while others pointed the finger at a lack of innovation. Whatever the cause, designers rose to the challenge. For spring, the runways were decorated with a bouquet of fresh choices that are making us fall in love with denim all over again.
