Jourdan Dunn and Rihanna Launch Temporary Tattoo Collections for Summer

Temporary tattoos are poised to have quite another moment this summer now that some of fashion’s resident cool girls are hot on the trend. Jourdan Dunn has paired with HTC to create a limited-edition One M9 Ink handset inspired by body art. The phone is engraved with a tattoo-like illustration, imagined in collaboration with English tattoo artist Cally-Jo, the woman behind Rihanna’s henna-style hand ink. HTC would be remiss to launch a body art-inspired phone without providing the people with actual body art, so the phone’s intricate design also comes in a gold, silver and black temporary tattoo form. There are only a few of the HTC handsets available, so if you want to get your little paws on one, head over to HTC to sign up for your chance to purchase one.

Noted tattoo enthusiast Rihanna is also jumping on the temporary body art bandwagon. The singer has teamed with jewelry designer Jacquie Aiche on a line of temporary tattoos, a seven-sheet set that includes knuckle wraps, cuticle tattoos, chokers and more. The set also includes an assortment of letters so you can create your own nameplate – or spell out whatever word tickles your fancy.

The collection is available online right now for $27, with sets available in black and gold. “Creating the tattoos was a really collaborative process between Rihanna and myself, which we feel is so evident in the final designs. There are gothic tattoos, but then we mixed in lots of daintier pieces for layering that are reminiscent of the way we stack our jewelry,” said designer Jacquie Aiche. “The process was so much fun we decided to make another round, as well. Something a little softer and sexier with some unexpected inspiration. Stay tuned!”

We can’t wait to see what Jacquie and Riri create for their second go-round!
