Q:  When did you first start your blog? How has it changed since then?

A:  I started my blog in January of 2009.  I was desperate for inspiration and stumbled upon my first few style blogs.  It was love at first site!  Since starting Blue Collar Catwalk, my style has evolved more than I could have ever imagined.  I feel much more confident pushing my own limits, and making the most of my wardrobe.  Before blogging, I would continue wearing the same few outfits over and over.  Now, I’m so much more inspired to put together new combinations and play with different shapes.  Looking through my archives is quite a trip for me now!  It’s evident how much my style has grown in only a year.

Q:  How would you describe your individual blog posts, and how would you describe your blog as whole?

A:  Most of my posts are a simply daily accounts of my outfits and life.  As a whole, I try to keep Blue Collar Catwalk as light-hearted and accessible as I can.  I think it’s important to show how you can work with your body’s imperfections, overcome a small budget, and remix favorite pieces over and over.  And a little humor never hurts!

A:  I subscribe to way too many blogs.  I only say too many, because most days, it’s physically impossible for me to get to them all, alhough, it doesn’t keep me from trying.  The 2 first blogs I started reading and continue to read now are What I Wore and Fell 4 Fashion.  My list of daily reads is really huge, so I would encourage you to check out the “Blog Reads” link on my site for the full list.

Q:  How would you describe your personal style?

A:  Hmmm … I tend to leave the house forgetting something important all the time, so that’s a tough question.  Though, I guess the one thing I almost ALWAYS have with me is a snack.  I even pop popcorn and throw it in my purse before leaving.  Then, I walk around smelling like a movie theater all day.

Q:  Where do you want to be doing in five years?
