Rodarte and Universal Standard Just Launched an Affordable, Size-Inclusive Capsule Collection for Spring

Luxury brand Rodarte is known for its fantastical runway creations (remember the Star Wars collection from 2014?) and for designing the stunning costumes from the movie Black Swan. But the brand is not typically associated with affordable, size-inclusive clothes — until now.

Universal Standard, a brand that designs clothes for women of all sizes, has tapped Rodarte to collaborate on a new capsule collection. “We wanted to get people involved who were not part of the inclusivity and diversity movement per se, but who we felt might be interested in raising their hands and saying, ‘This is great and this is the right thing to do.’ Rodarte was at the top of our list,” Polina Veksler, co-founder of Universal Standard, told Vogue.

Priced from $150 to $240, the Rodarte x Universal Standard capsule collection includes a dress, jumpsuit, skirt and blouse that come in a variety of colors and are available in sizes 00 to 40. “We are excited to partner with Universal Standard to create this amazing collection,” Rodarte designers Laura & Kate Mulleavy said. “We are passionate about working with women that inspire us creatively and we love every style in this collection.”
