Kirsten Dunst

Who: Kirsten Dunst

Where: The Bachelorette Film Premiere at Sundance

Why we like it: Celebrities have been loving headband braids these past few weeks but often they look too manipulated to be casual. This version is a more relaxed look suitable for day or night.

How to get it at home: Start with a tinted moisturizer such as Chantecaille's Just Skin $64 all over the face. Unless you have very oily skin, you can skip powder with this look and opt for a more dewy finish. Apply concealer where necessary but be sure to do so with a light hand. Add a subtle flush with Benefit's new Hervana $28 blush, which is a blend of colors that will match most skintones. To get Kirsten's simple smoky eye, start by applying bareMinerals Eyecolor in Vanilla Sugar $13 all across the lid. Then, with an angled eyeliner brush, apply Laura Mercier's Caviar Eye Liner $22 in a thin line across the upper lash line, thickening it once you reach the last third of your eye. Run the same brush underneath then use a small blending brush to smoke it out as much or as little as you want. Finish your eyes with a coat of a lengthening mascara such as Benefit's They're Real! $22. To get Kirsten's stained lip, try Yves Saint Laurent's new Rouge Pur Couture in Rouge Gouache $32, which is a gloss that will wear off into a stain.

To get Kirsten's modified headband braid, simply part air dried hair and do a loose reverse French braid down either side, meeting in a messy bun at the nape of the neck. If your hair is natually very flat, apply a texturizer before allowing it to dry. To do a reverse French braid, simply pull the segments up through the plait rather than down.
