For those who love to see models on the covers of their favorite glossies — especially names we don’t see that often — this was a great month. November featured women like Raquel Zimmermann, Rianne van Rompaey, Othilia Simon and Marina Krtinic alongside more mainstream models like Natasha Poly, Ashley Graham, Alek Wek, Miranda Kerr and Chrissy Teigen. Celebrity-wise it was great to see a lot of magazine covers relatively light on makeup (a trend we saw with the model covers as well) and alongside current favorites like Margot Robbie, there were some unexpected choices like Winona Ryder. Sadly, on the diversity front, there wasn’t much in the way of size, race or age, aside from a few noteworthy exceptions like 92-year-old Cicely Tyson.
As far as trends go, it seems like brushing your hair is out this season. For more, here’s a look at all the November 2017 magazine covers you need to know about.
