Miranda Kerr Is the Slightly Predictable New Face of H&M

In the least difficult game of “guess who?” ever, Miranda Kerr has been unveiled as the new face of H&M.

“This is our new #HMSpringFashion model. Guess who!” the brand posted to their Instagram account on Monday, along with a photo of Kerr’s idiosyncratic dimples peeking out from under a noughts & crosses board. The suspicions of 1.6 million followers were confirmed via Twitter shortly afterward. Kerr will front the brand’s global campaign, taking over from Gisele Bündchen, her angelic dimples magnified and plastered on billboards all over the world.

But the new gig will have special significance back home, however. H&M’s spring campaign will be unveiled in March, coinciding with the opening of its first Australian store in Melbourne in April. It makes sense that they would have chosen an Australian model.

The campaign will be good news for the legions of Australian fans who miss her face from David Jones. But we have to wonder if Kerr’s post-breakup (with both Jones and Orlando Bloom) career is taking off a little too well? She’s also recently signed on as the face, body and hair of ShopStyle, Clear Scalp & Hair and Swarovski, as well as promoting her Kora Organics skincare range (which she arguably does just by way of existing). We’re not sure if that constitutes overexposure, but we do know who we’d like to trade bank accounts with next season.
